1. God called me to do it. After praying for a year, I finally said yes.
2. It is a creative outlet for me.
3. I love words!
4. I have a passion to connect with other women and encourage them.
5. I saw Julie & Julia and was inspired!
6. It is a great keepsake for my girls as they get older.
7. I have horrible handwriting and this makes #6 possible.
8. I don't have a crafty bone in my body.
9. I get to meet and interact with amazing people.

ReplyDeleteI started blogging many years ago at www.thebutlerboys.blogspot.com as a way to keep my far away family current with the goings on with the little boys. After a couple of years I wanted to blog more personally and knew that my ramblings didn't have a home on my family blog so I made another journal style blog for myself. Eventually it got locked up and I closed it and started fresh at Be Still My Heart. My boys have a new blog now that they are getting older as well. I wanted them to do their own blogging but that's like pulling teeth. I love blogging. I love the blogging community and I often figure things out through my writing.
